Hi my name is Layla and I am the pharos daughter. I love music and dancing.  One of my jobs is managing property. I am 16 and I live in the palace with my father. my father is our ruler and scribes and priests support. I wright in hieroglyphics and we had to learn to wright.

Day 1 

Today I woke up and went to eat breakfast. Today I learned more about managing property and met people. I went to go look at properties. I also have to watch my little sister Dalia and my dog Aziza. Aziza means precious. And today me and Dalia went to the pool so get way from the heat wave we where experiencing. Then we headed back to the palace then had to do a lesson on reading and writing in hieroglyphics.  I got ready for bed and went to sleep.

Day 2

The heat wave is still going and getting hotter and hotter. I am getting concerned. Father sent people to check on the crops. They are not doing to well. But we still have plenty of food to last us the heat wave and longer. Today I have to attend a banquet so I need to get ready for that. I and doing my hair in braided and curls. My assistants do my makeup and find a good outfit. I am so exited!

Day 3 

The banquet last night was amazing! Anyway, Today I need to read and wright more hieroglyphics. Today was the coolest day all week in this heat wave.  Me, father, mama and Dalia were about to go on one of the pleasure boats for sailing. I am I bit nerves. I have to get married to someone I don't even know.  Father and mama chose his for me. I hope he is nice! I get married in 2 days! Thats about it. Bye!

Day 4 

My wedding is tomorrow and the heat wave is still going on! I am starting to get worried. Luckily the wedding is inside. But we were going to go outside near the end but now we can't. Father and mama have met him already but I have not. they say not seeing him is romantic. I think it is stressful! they won't even tell me his name! I hope it goes well! Bye!

Day 5

Today is the wedding! But it is also the hottest day that we have had all month. Just my luck. I'm sure it will still be great! Hopefully it goes well.
